Redesign and development for the most recognised Employer Branding specialist in the world.

The brief

Universum had an existing website which over the years had lost its way and no real user flow. In that time, the brand had evolved and part of the brief was to design a new site that’s inline with their newly designed brand guidelines. Working closely with the Heads of Brand and Marketing, we designed and developed a new website that reflected the business visually and spoke to their users with focus.

Bespoke UX & website design

Universum have a global audience so it was imperative we understood what their users wanted from their site.

After studying their analytics we were able to identify key user flows and redesign their website to educate on employer branding before signposting to their 4 solutions; Academy, Analytics, Advisory and Activation.

Custom API integration

Universum’s annual rankings survey provides a huge amount of data that is integrated into the website through a custom API.

We developed the integration into this API to read and display the rankings data, which is scheduled to update regularly from the data source.

Multilingual and Multisite

The website is multilingual and operates on WordPress Multisite to facilitate this.

Country specific subsites are created with ease from within the WordPress dashboard which allows Universum to expand their international offering with ease.

Language detection and Akamai rewrites allow Universum to direct users to the relevant language specific website.
