Secure platform development
We take WordPress security to an enterprise level by hardening the defaults and taking a secure-by-design approach to all our development. This starts when we’re planning infrastructure and architecture and carries through to our testing and QA process.
The security of our work is important to us so regular penetration testing and implementation of multi-factor authentication systems is part of our service.
Coded to standards
The technical standard of our work will be important to you, and it’s certainly important to us.
Coding to known technical standards allows our work to be portable between our developers but also to external parties. We regularly share our code and work together with developers from other organisations so it’s standard practice for us to ensure our code is well documented, well organised and methodically written.
Ecommerce and WooCommerce
WooCommerce brings the ease of WordPress to customer and order management in an ecommerce environment.
We provide conversion rate optimisation for WooCommerce platforms via bespoke checkout design and development to maximise revenue.
WooCommerce is a scalable, secure and easy to use platform that doesn’t take a cut on your margins which makes it ideal for fast-growth companies.
Multisite and multilingual
We’re experienced with WordPress Multisite and with implementing complex multilingual platforms.
We help organisations move from inefficient and slow multisite/multilingual platforms to a scalable, performance-driven WordPress platform that serves multiple audiences and international markets.
Multisite helps organisations consolidate their user management, content management and maintenance tasks into one secure platform across multiple websites.
API integrated content
WordPress is likely to be a part of your overall content ecosystem which may require us to use APIs to bring content in, or push content out to other services.
Our developers have a wide range of experience with integrating third party systems such as other CMSs, recruitment platforms, email marketing, membership systems, social media and CRMs.
Search engine optimisation
During development of projects we’ll ensure that the front-end is coded in the most search-engine-friendly way possible.
We use semantic markup and install an industry-known plugin (Yoast) to help you manage your SEO configuration.
Whilst we don’t offer a monthly SEO service, we are happy to partner with other agencies to provide the best opportunity for your website’s search success.
At the end of development projects, we’ll deliver the following:
All documents, designs and code are checked by at least two other members of the team before we deliver the work to you.
We use LambdaTest to check our websites in a standardised set of different web browsers and mobile device configurations.
Our developers have undertaken accessibility training which means they code to WCAG 2.1 AA standards where it’s possible. Content of websites must also be accessible under the AA guidelines, and this is something we’ll advise you on.
Using WordPress we’ll have produced the fully working website that meets your expected functionality and the designs we produced. Every image and string of text will be editable within the content management system.
The front end of the website will respond to the device it’s being viewed on. Using mobile-first design and development techniques means we’ll be producing the best possible experience for all users.
Managing content will be intuitive as we customise the backend dashboard for you. That means tidying up the default WordPress menu and ensuring that it’s easy for you to find what you’re looking for with ease.
Psychology Tools have been working with 10 Degrees for nearly three years now, and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. 10 Degrees don’t just build our website, they solve our problems. What I like about their approach is how thorough they are: they really listen carefully, and then come up with workable and reliable technical solutions to help us to achieve what we want.
