We are looking for an enthusiastic WordPress Support Developer to join our team of technical experts, based at our office in Wokingham, to offer exceptional customer service to our clients.

This is an additional role to join our growing team and would suit someone looking to be part of an agency striving for continual improvement and to be at the forefront our industry. This role would suit someone at the start of the WordPress career, who has the desire to become a full project developer within 1-2 years – something that we would fully support with training.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support, logging and categorising requests and issues which clients report via email and telephone.
  • Provide development support to our clients to resolve WordPress issues.
  • Monitor response times based on the client’s support package tiering.
  • Assist in completing development work to improve and change client websites.
  • Assist in running WordPress software updates on client sites.
  • Assist in delivering monthly reports to clients on support & maintenance usage.
  • Communicate effectively and responsively with the clients in a non-technical language that they will understand.
  • Always understand and consider the client’s needs. Consider the impact of everything you do on the client and their business.
  • Communicate effectively and responsively with the rest of the team, understanding the impact your work is having on other people’s dependencies.
  • Be able to manage your own workload and take personal responsibility for delivering what you said you would, delivered on time.

If you’re the ideal candidate then you’ll have:

  • At least one year’s experience working with WordPress, PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML and Javascript, in a commercial environment.
  • A drive to keep our clients happy with exceptional customer service.
  • Development experience managing multiple WordPress sites.
  • Ticketing system experience (e.g. Zendesk)
  • A logical thought process and an ability to troubleshoot technical problems with websites.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Ability to manage client expectations.
  • The ability to work by yourself and in a small team; be enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated.
  • Experience of working in a web, IT or agency environment or as a freelancer.


All roles will be based at our office in Wokingham (not remote working), all applicants should be eligible to work in the UK with a valid visa if required.
