Our team is growing, would you like to join it?

Lynda Harvey

We are looking for the best talent around to join our team of WordPress specialists.

In the coming year we plan to grow our team with the following roles. We’re not going to rush it, we’re waiting until we find the right people for us and then we’ll nab them as quickly as we can.

Why work for 10 Degrees?

We think we’re quite a nice bunch to work with. We genuinely care about your happiness at work and your career progression.

We work hard but strive for a sensible work/life balance. We’re committed to delivering a top quality service to our clients, both technically and from a service experience perspective. We strive for continual improvement and to be at the forefront of our industry.

We’ve been steadily growing since our first recruit nearly four years ago and we plan to continue growing at that pace for a while to come. Last year we were a Wirehive Finalist in the Fastest Growth category, something we’re very proud of.

We have strong ethical and inclusive business values and believe in giving back to our community, read more about how we do that, and expect our team to display these values too.

And there’s free fruit and snacks. Oh, and did we mention the table tennis?

Does that sound like the company for you? Then read on.

WordPress Project Developer

You will be an experienced WordPress developer with at least three years commercial agency experience of full stack development.

As a project developer you will be required to deliver highly accurate builds from artwork and to determine the best technical solutions from the functional spec provided. Excellent CSS, Javascript and PHP skills are a must and you should be able to demonstrate these during an interview. Experience with complex API integrations, multilingual sites, Git workflows and WooCommerce are all things we’d like to see.

WordPress Junior Support Developer

As a junior developer in our support team, you will be required to respond to support tickets or phone calls from clients, proactively resolve issues and escalate to another developer when needed. You will also be required to assist with our routine updates and reporting for all our WordCare clients.

We expect you to have at least a year’s experience working with WordPress, PHP, MySQL and Javascript. In this position you’ll need to be confident talking to clients, understanding their requirements and be able to communicate professionally. In return we’ll put you on a path to become a full-stack project developer.

WordPress Designer

As our first in-house designer, you will be required to deliver initial concepts to the clients and final PSDs to the developers for all our new build and re-design websites. You will have at least two years commercial experience of designing for WordPress and WooCommerce. You must have experience designing responsively using either Sketch or Photoshop and be able to demonstrate your designs in an interview.

You will also be responsible for our internal design for our own marketing and comms.
